Meet Zoe
Hi! I’m Zoe Clasen, a Licensed Professional Counselor with a passion for helping individuals feel seen, heard, and empowered in their mental health journey. I hold a Masters of Science in Counseling from Texas A&M University–Commerce.
My belief in the power of therapy began at a very personal level. After tragically losing my brother in 2011, I entered therapy at the age of 12. Over the years, therapy became a place of healing, growth, and transformation, experiences that deeply shaped the clinician I am today. I know firsthand how vulnerable and intimidating those first steps can feel, and my goal is to create an environment where every client feels welcomed, understood, and supported from the moment they walk through the door.
Coming from a large blended family of nine siblings—three of whom are adopted—I learned early on the value of compassion, patience, understanding, and advocacy. Having the privilege of watching my adopted siblings grow up and supporting my parents along the way has strengthened my passion for working with children, teens, and families.
I work with children, teens, and adults, helping clients find their voice, navigate challenges, and build the confidence to step into meaningful change. I specialize in working with kids and teens with ADHD and behavioral concerns, but I also support clients navigating grief, anxiety, depression, autism level 1, relationship difficulties, life transitions, and more.
I have received additional training in ADHD, diagnosing, trauma, and working with divorced and blended families. While Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is at the core of my approach, I integrate other modalities to meet clients exactly where they are. In sessions, I often incorporate art, play, board games, and video games when helpful—especially with younger clients—to foster connection, self-expression, and comfort.
At the heart of my work is the belief that therapy does not have to be intimidating. I’m here to walk alongside you with authenticity, warmth, and unwavering support as you pursue healing and growth.
